OFFICIAL: Leroy Sane joins Bayern Munich from Manchester City until June 2025

Leroy Sane has completed his £54.8million transfer from Manchester City to Bayern Munich.

"Bayern is a very big club and has big goals - and these goals suit me as well. I'm looking forward to the new challenge and can't wait to train with the team. I still know Hansi Flick from the U21 national team, we had a very good relationship there." said Sane.
"We're all delighted we've been able to secure Leroy's signature for Bayern. His qualities as a player are undisputed. His speed, his technical quality and his scoring threat make him n absolute top player.
"He also fits very well into our team as a person and as a character. Our goal is to have a spine on the pitch from the goalkeeper to the forwards & Leroy is an important component in this." said Kahn.
The Germany international passed the second part of his medical on Thursday morning, before returning to Bayern's training centre to finalise his move.
The Bundesliga champions will pay an initial fee of £44.7million with a series of performance and trophy-related add-ons.

"We are happy that we can welcome Leroy Sane to Bayern. He is an excellent player who has proven his qualities over the past years. Our goal is to gather the best German players at FC Bayern and Leroy's signing underscores this path.
"I would like to compliment Hasan Salihamidzic for the successful completion of the transfer." said Rummenigge.
Manchester City will also take 10% of any profit made by the German club should they sell Sane in the future.
It is believed the winger will double the wages he was being offered by City to stay at the club with Bayern Munich set to pay the player around £22million per year.
Leroy Sane will wear the No.10 shirt at Bayern Munich.

"You're one of the most talented players I've seen and I am sure you will achieve everything you want in the future. Good luck on your new journey my brother! It was a pleasure to share incredible moments with you during these 4 years. Hope you wouldn't be rude when you play against City😄. Going to miss you around the place brother. A new chapter has started and I wish you all the best . Good luck to both you and your family in Germany. We had celebrated 7 trophies together. Hope you will come back here one day." - A big thank you from all the Citizens around the whole world.
