Bayern Munich apologises to City for publishing Sane pictures before announcement.

Bayern Munich have apologised to Manchester City after photos showing they had signed Leroy Sane were published before the transfer had been officially announced.

The pictures, which were passed on the Arabic version of the club's website on Thursday, circulated on social media and showed the winger signing his contract.

Munich sealed the signing of Leroy Sane from Manchester City for almost £55million on Tuesday night but have yet to officially confirm the news.

Sane had already agreed a five-year contract with the German champions after making it clear his future lay away from the Etihad Stadium.
