Results of Manchester United's friendlies against West Brom behind closed doors at Old Trafford

Manchester United on Friday played two behind the doors friendly with West Brom at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils lost the first one 2-1, while they won the second with a score of 3-1.

Squad for the first match :  Nathan Bishop, Sergio Romero, Diogo Dalot, Teden Mengi, Axel Tuanzebe, Eric Bailly, Brandon Williams, Timothy Fosu-Mensah, Angel Gomes, Pogba, Fernandes, Nemanja Matic, Daniel James, Mason Greenwood, Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford.

In the first match, Solskjaer started with an exciting midfield duo of Pogba and Fernandes, with the latter scoring through penalty but it was not enough to prevent defeat.

Squad for the second match : David de Gea, Harry Maguire, Victor Lindelof, Phil Jones, Scott McTominay, A. Pereira, Jesse Lingard, Tahith Chong, James Garner and Odion Ighalo.

In the second match against the Baggies, Andreas Periera scored a brace with Tahith Chong adding a third to end the friendlies with some respect. It is rumored that some players played both the games.

These friendlies are going to be very useful, as they are going to give every squad player some match fitness and everyone getting used to the mundane atmosphere. With every player being fit, it gives Ole a selection headache which always desires. It would be interesting to see what our starting XI will be against spurs, next Friday. he
