David De Gea: 5
Should have done better in stopping Bergwijn's shot, made up for it almost by making a brilliant elastic save of Son's header. Had nothing much to do other than that.
Aaron Wan Bissaka: 6
The talented right-back did a fairly good job as always. He can improve his attacking aspects of his game though.
Victor Lindelof: 6
Had an ordinary match. He was struggling to hold down Bergwijn in the first half, when Spurs dominated the game for a while.
Harry Maguire : 4
He's largely to be blamed for the goal the team conceded, shouldn't have lowered his guard. Always tries to initiate an attack by stepping up in midfield though.
Luke Shaw: 7
Had a great game. He was defensively solid, never let his guard down and always went forward to make a goal happen. He deserves to be United's first-choice left-back currently.
Fred: 7
It's amazing to see how Fred has become an important part of the squad. He's completely adapted to English football, managed to snatch away the ball on multiple occasions and was always busy covering every grass on the field without it. Was unlucky to be subbed off for Pogba.
Scott Mctominay: 7
It's absolutely difficult to take away the ball from the Scotsman. He was defensively solid too, did well as a centre-back in the dying stages of the game.
Bruno Fernandes: 8
Another perfect game for the Portuguese maestro, tried to slice open the Spur's defense with his cheeky passes and connected instantly with super-sub Paul Pogba. He's the best penalty taker at the club, and calmly put the ball into the back of the net.
Daniel James: 3
By far the worst player for United on the pitch. He was easily bullied down by Aurier, hardly had an impact on the game. He shouldn't start games against teams which sit back and defend deep.
Anthony Martial: 5
Struggled completely in the first-half and starting part of second, largely because of lack of good delivery. That changed after Pogba came in and he twice was superbly denied by Lloris.
Marcus Rashford: 6
Came close to storing in the first-half, is dovetailing well with Bruno and with time it will improve. Should have done better with that amazing lob he received from Pogba. Being out for months, it will take time for him to get back on the game.
SUBSTITUTIONS
Paul Pogba: 9
Ah, the super-sub! It's because of him United managed to walk away with a point. At a time when united were losing hope, he came in and changed the dynamics of the game and he won the penalty, which helped United equalise the game. Even though it was for 30 mins, his partnership with Bruno was there to be seen, imagine what will happen when they both start a game together. An MOM performance by the World Cup winner.
Mason Greenwood: 7
Another sub who made an instant impact on the pitch. He doesn't seem to be fragile anymore, which is music to the ears of us United fans. Came close to getting the winner. He should start more on right-wing, especially against teams who defend deep.
Nemanja Matic : 7
Came on on the 75th min but did a great job as a centre-back and stabilised the defence. He's more natural as a holding midfielder and should start as one behind Bruno and Pogba.
Odion Ighalo: 7
He did well as well. Should have been brought up early as his hold up play is better than Martial. Ole should start him in a PL game.
Eric Bailly: N/A
Came on in the dying minutes of the match.
After a three month lay-off it wasn't a bad performance, but we need to start winning games, if we want to qualify for Champions League. Hopefully, we will hit the ground running on Wednesday against Sheffield United.
