Leicester City and Manchester United lock horns in the penultimate match of the season, what is going to be a cracker as it's gonna be a virtual Champions League qualification play-off. Schmeichel spoke to Sky Sports ahead of the clash, he made a passionate defence of fellow keeper De Gea , branding him a ' world-class' goalkeeper and also had a say on talented youngster Dean Henderson.
He said: " There is a lot of pressure in the sense that you have an England goalkeeper coming through, like it or not, in this country when you have an English goalkeeper, that means so much and they really do tend to build them up. I genuinely hope for someone like Dean Henderson, who's had an amazing season, that he can be allowed to develop.
" I hope for him, he gets another season, maybe two at Sheffield United and play the way he's done and then he'll be ready."
I absolutely agree with Kasper, with De Gea likely to stay and be given another shot at United next season, it's better that Dean Henderson to continue his development at Sheffield United for a season or two. One thing Henderson should be relaxed about is that , He's gonna be the next No.1 at United and that he needn't worry about that.
