Serie A side Lazio in talks with David Silva

Lazio are busy searching for players who can add experience to their team and have reportedly made contact with Manchester City ace David Silva.

The Spanish technician will be available on a free transfer after his contract at Manchester City came to an end following 10 trophy-laden years in England.
Lazio Sporting Director Igli Tare has been scouring the market for a player capable of raising the level of experience in Simone Inzaghi's team and Silva would be the perfect addition.
According to AS, an agreement between Silva and Lazio is very close to being struck with both sides keen to get a deal over the line.
Gazzetta dello Sport claim Silva recently met Tare over dinner to discuss the club's future ambitions.
Silva, 34, also has interest from Al-Ahli and Al-Nasr in Dubai.
Lazio are however understood to be the front runners with the Serie A side ready to guarantee him at least two years playing a competitive league.
The Spanish playmaker would add to an already impressive midfield which already boasts Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
Despite his age, Silva has proved he can still perform at the highest level at City this season and that he would be able to make a contribution for Lazio.
Securing his signature would ensure Lazio have another technical player who they could rely on.
Silva will leave City after scoring 77 goals and laying on a further 140 assists in 434 matches for the club.
