Marcus Rashford makes history with honorary degree

Marcus Rashford is again showing that not only he's a top player, but a top person too outside the pitch.

Marcus Rashford has created history after becoming the youngest recipient of an honorary degree from the University Of Manchester. He's been bestowed this degree, given his recent heroics in fighting for the people in poverty. He collaborated with FairShare UK and raised £20m, which helped distribute 3.9 million meals over UK. He even forced the British government to overturn their decision of not distributing food vouchers to the vulnerable families of Britain during the six weeks summer holidays.
Being delighted on receiving the honorary doctorate award, Rashford said," It's a proud day for myself and my family. When you look at the great names that have been awarded this doctorate in the past, it's humbling. We still have a long way to go in the fight to combat child poverty in this country but receiving recognition from your city means we are heading in the right direction."

Rashford has joined United legends Sir Alex Ferguson and Sir Bobby Charlton in receiving this honorary degree, but I doubt they were this young. We're so so proud of you Marcus, not only you make Manchester or Utd proud, but the whole of England. May you keep on achieving even greater heights and continue to be the great human being you already are.  You're the pride of Manchester.

Cheers,
Arbab
