Manchester City will be without forward Sergio Aguero when they welcome Real Madrid to the Etihad Stadium next month to resolve their Champions League last 16 tie.
Aguero, who underwent surgery last month to repair torn meniscus in his left knee, will not recover in time for the return leg in Manchester on Friday, August 7. City go into the game with a 1-2 lead from the first leg back in February before football was put on hold by the coronavirus pandemic.
