Rojo currently is on loan at Estudiantes, but that is all set to expire on 30th June and United are not interested to extend his loan, as they are interested to cash in on him, with just a year left on his contract.
Rojo is surplus to requirements under Solskjaer, as United are well stocked in the centre-back position and with the emergence of Brandon Williams , he's not needed in there too.
Boca Juniors are thought to be the club most interested in securing his signature with United demanding £12m for him. It will be difficult for United to get £12m for Rojo in this market and especially from Argentine clubs with his £160k/week wages a major stumbling block.
United are adamant not to sell for less or anything close to that £12m amount. It will be better for all the parties if Rojo is moved on as because if he stays at United, he will remain unused. We still need to get rid of some deadwoods and Rojo is clearly one of them.
