Eric Garcia released from hospital after horror collision with teammate Ederson

Eric Garcia was released from hospital on Thursday morning and returned to Manchester City's training ground following a nasty collision with his own goalkeeper.

The young defender suffered a head injury when the onrushing Ederson collided with him during the 3-0 win over Arsenal.
Club medics attended to Garcia for several minutes towards the end of Wednesday night's game and he left the field on a stretcher with an oxygen mask.
Garcia spent the night in hospital for tests before being given the all clear. The 19-year-old was back at the City Football Academy on Thursday. Ederson apologised for his part in accident when the pair met.
Pep Guardiola is unlikely to pick him for next week's game against Burnley, preferring more physicality in his back line.

Garcia performed well on only his third Premier League start and City hope that the Spaniard commits his future to the club amid interest from former club FC Barcelona.
'Eric came back incredibly well. He has the intelligence to guide the line,' Guardiola said. 'He's trained really well. He always plays well. He doesn't make mistakes, always focused.'
